Shrine of Embers

With the Scourge of the Undead spreading across the world, all hope seems to be lost. That is, until, the Shrine of Embers descends from the Heavens to grant a wish to whoever can find it first. A brave Priestess: Valeria, and her Fiancé: Alant - travel to the legendary Ember Island in search of the Shrine, all in hopes of wishing for an end to the Scourge. Valeria believes that her bond with Alant is unbreakable, but when a certain Legendary Hero arrives on the island, something is awoken deep inside her. Will she stay faithful to her beloved... or will she fall to her lust?
NOTE: This game is a work of fiction. Any similarities to real people or other works of fiction are completely coincidental. All characters in this game are 18 years of age or older. All acts of intimacy are consensual. All characters in this game are not of blood relations. You must be of legal age in your home country in order to play Shrine of Embers.
Characters
Valeria(Name Changeable) is a Holy Priestess in service to the Goddess. She plans to use the Shrine of Embers to remove the Scourge of the Undead from the world. She is pious and devout, and is wholly devoted to her beloved fiancé Alant.
Alant(Name Changeable) is an Adventurer and the sworn protector of his beloved fiancé Valeria. Though young and inexperienced, he plans to escort Valeria to the Shrine of Embers so she can end the Scourge. He is wholly devoted to Valeria.
Zak(Name Changeable) is a Legendary Hero of renown. He has come to Ember Island in order to find the Shrine, same as the others. However, Valeria's beauty has caught his eye...
Catherine is a brave Knight and Adventurer, who has been best friends with Alant since childhood. She has come to Ember Island in search of the Shrine, however is surprised to find Alant engaged to Valeria. She hopes to get closer to Alant during her time on the Island...
Danica is a long-time resident of Ember Island. She works as a barmaid at the local Inn, catering to the various adventurers who have come in search of the Shrine. She's devoted to her Husband: Thomas, but recently she's been spending a lot of time with Zak...
Thomas is a local Hunter on Ember Island. He typically helps out his Wife: Danica, but due to a recent injury he's been forced to sit on the sidelines while Danica works. Lately, Danica seems to rely on Zak...

Hey man, playing the game now! Some constructive feedback if you don't mind:
>Black text can be difficult to read on its own. If you can do black text with a white outline, its easy to read against any color.
>I got soft locked because I got blocked by my follower when exploring; need to be able to move through other characters unless a specific one is required to stop you
(Idk what you plan for the actual game, so the following may or may not apply once out of the demo)
>There is a lot of talk and no play at the start; adding more play time with the exposition would be a better way to upkeep retention

*NOTE* - Your PC may need a Run Time Package (RTP) in order to run games with this engine. I included an executable in the download - simply run the executable before playing the game and you should be good to go. Feel free to comment down here if you run into any issues, I'll reply as soon as I can
